What to do with your green ribbon:
1. Display your ribbon

Place your green ribbon in a visible spot: on your gate or mailbox, or wrapped around a tree on your property to show your support for saving Sickle Point.
2. Take a picture.
3. Share:

On Instagram, tag @savesicklepoint and use #savesicklepoint.

Post on your Facebook page and share it on the Save Sickle Point page.

On Twitter, tag @savesicklepoint and use #savesicklepoint.

Email it to savesicklepoint@gmail.com.
Supporters who had made a pledge, or who wished to make a pledge to save Sickle Point, were invited to pick up their green ribbon on March 7, 2021. Other events are being planned.
Write letters of support
Write a letter to government to let them know why saving Sickle Point and keeping vehicles off the KVR trail is important to you.

Draft your own email.
The more emails received from individuals, the clearer the message becomes that saving Sickle Point is a concern of many, and not just a few. Email us a copy of your letter and we will add it to a box of letters to be physically mailed!

One idea that has come from the community is to pledge future ICBC rebates and/or the British Columbia Recovery Benefit.

Make a pledge at the Wayblaze campaign.

Pledges continue to be made through the Kaleden Community Association website and the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen website.
Petition of support

Sign the online petition at https://www.change.org/SaveSicklePoint.

Paper copies will be available to sign at the Kaleden Library.

We intend to gather thousands of signatures, locally and worldwide. The petition will be submitted to Premier John Horgan and Hon. Katrine Conroy, Minister of Forest, Lands, Natural Resources and Rural Development.
