Kaleden Parks and Recreation Commission
The Kaleden Parks and Recreation Commission (Kal-Rec) is an advisory arm of the RDOS Area I.
Kal-Rec makes recommendations and provides advice to the RDOS on the organization and conduct of parks and recreation programming. Working within their approved budget, Kal-Rec plans, develops and implements parks and recreation services.
New and Noteworthy
Kal-Rec services are provided in four main areas:
Year-round recreation programs for all ages. There is something for everyone in the recreation guide. We encourage you to check it out.
Kaleden Hotel. Take a walk through history while creating lasting memories by hosting a function at this historic site that has stood the test of time and echoes authenticity, majesty and grandeur at a fraction of the cost.
In addition, you can find out how to support the revitalization project of this historic building, which remains as a reminder of the beginning of something great—our community.
Pioneer Park. Reconnect with nature and enjoy this piece of paradise in Kaleden.
Kaleden Community Hall. This venue is perfect for birthdays, weddings, family events, functions and parties. It is accessible from Highway 97 via Lakehill Road. Its close proximity to community amenities make it an ideal venue.
